Upon first entering Crabby Joe's, you are immediately struck by the decorations and layout. The ambiance reminded me of a mix between East Side Mario's and Montana's, with checkered tablecloths, crayons on the table, and a blend of outdoor and indoor decor. The menu reflected this same mix, offering everything from hamburgers to fish to Tex-Mex cuisine. While this variety may appeal to families with picky eaters, I found it to be a bit unoriginal. The food here is decent, the prices are okay, it is on par with other chain restaurants of the same caliber. What really hurt their rating, with my anyway, was the ridiculous amount of time we spent waiting on our last visit! We went later in the evening, about 9-ish and went for the half priced appetizers. I don't know about you, but for me waiting 45 minutes for an appetizer is excessive at best. Had it been overly busy, I might have understood, but it wasn't busy at all. Where to start... They were forewarned of a group of about 30 coming in for a going away party and they failed to have tables set up. The wait staff seemed friendly enough but did not seem to be too concerned about a member of the group not getting thier order, for about 45-60 minutes. When asked about it it was supposedly on the way... 10 minutes later. While clearing the table one of the waiters dropped some materials (ketchup, gravy) on the floor. The food at this restaurant is comparable to other chain restaurants of its kind. It's not amazing, but it's consistent. However, the prices should be a little lower to match the quality. I paid $23 for chicken fingers, fries, and a gin and tonic, which is a bit high compared to other places. The drinks are decent but nothing special. The TVs and seating are perfect for watching sports with a group. The waitresses are friendly and attentive. This place is terrible. Where to start. 1. Stood and waited a long time to be seated, all kinds of staff look at us but not doing anything. 2. There booth bench seats are lumpy and very uncomfortable. 3. The men's washroom hasn't been properly cleaned in a long time. 4. Service sucks. 5. I even wrote the Company headquarters and told them and never got any reply. If I could give it -3 stars I would. The company doesn't care, the store doesn't care and the staff doesn't care.

Tonight, a group of friends and I visited this restaurant. Our server, Danielle, was fantastic! She made sure that our food and drinks were perfect. The food and drinks were both delicious! The food was hot, flavorful, and arrived quickly. The new owner also came to our table. She was a lovely lady from Toronto who was very friendly and genuinely interested in our experience. Everything was exceptional! We wish her the best of luck with her new business.

The foods not the best, but it's a pretty nice place to go and hangout with some friends for UFC or sports! The only time I really go is for the half off appitizers, other than that it's not really worth it. Never eat the chicken wings, they will make you sick. Our football team use to have wing night and I use to get sick all the time and I'm not one to get sick over food.

Waited 45 min for a clubhouse and ceasar wrap. Waitress yelled from across the bar to tell us the kitchen staff did not hear the order come in. Once the food came out, the waitress never came over to check on the food or ask about refills on our drinks. Fries were tasteless. The wrap and clubhouse were good. Meh? Another corporate food joint. Pulled pork sandwich wasn't so great. Club sandwich was dry and overly bready with just 2 slices of turkey and one slice of bacon. Pasta was a skimpy portion and somewhat dry. I like not so much! When asked about the service, my friends replied there was service?

Getting half priced apps is the best here! They have a platter that comes with wings,mozzarella sticks and quesadillas which is so worth, especially when it's half off. Great place to grab a drink with friends too!
