Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I took my family out on Christmas Eve and the food and service was horrible. We waited about 40 minutes to get thru the door, which can be expected on Christmas Eve and a Sunday. But we ordered our food as soon as we got in there nothing big just some breakfast food and a kids pancake. We waited and watched 4 other parties get their food who came in after us and even had more ppl in their parties then we did (5 ppl in our party). We had asked our waiter where our food was and expressed our concerns and was met with an attitude. After being there for about 1 hour and 45 minutes our food finally came out and the eggs were like rubber and our food was cold. I had them take it back and the manager apologized and took it off the bill and said it was a kitchen staff issue. If something got messed up due to them all the waiter had to do was explain it and we would’ve understood but giving us an attitude plus cold food is very unprofessional. I will not be going back to the Troy, IL Cracker Barrel. I wish I could give 0 stars for the service and food because that’s what they deserve. Today my husband stopped at Cracker Barrel Troy Il to get me meatloaf. The meatloaf was burnt dry and simply inedible. Was very disappointed with the food quality. He got me two Mac and cheese and one Apple. I got maybe a tablespoon full in each slot on plate. The apples were good. This really made me sad since I was really looking forward to this Food: 2
