Craft Collective is go to spot in Cleveland if you're a beer cocktail lover. There's a large rotating selection of craft beers from a diverse lineup of breweries, and a great seasonal cocktail menu. I always ask the bartender what they would recommend based on my mood or a flavor, and they have never steered me wrong. My recent favorite are the bottlehouse ciders! It's located within the Van Aken market hall, which is a unique indoor market with seating and lots of food vendors. As others have mentioned, you can bring in food from any of the vendors into the bar itself, and you can bring your drinks out from the bar into the hall and even the street in the summer! The larger market hall can get very busy on the weekends it is a popular family spot and the tables outside are often full and loud. Craft collective is a small oasis in this bustling locale.
Fantastic selection, I don't get beer from bird fishing, noble creatures or missing mountain to drink, but Craft Collective always seems to have a design. Not to mention a killer cocktail menu. The bartenders are always so helpful to make recommendations, they always remember the last thing I have ordered and give big suggestions what to try next. As Shaker native, I can honestly say we needed this irrigation hole!
September 2021: Pros: Unique menu of beer and hard apple wines. Good social event to meet with friends and drink something. There is a large, dope (long for ingenious) wall painting hanging behind the bar. Cons: No food...only drinks. Not sure if I could buy and bring in food. I didn't understand the rules.
I love this oasis of roaring children while I enjoy an adult drink! While I love that the district is child-friendly, not all areas have to be. Connor, Morgan and Logan are amazing bartenders. Beer, pearl and cocktail options are fabulous. I recommend a stop when you get the chance.
