New owners, and unfortunately, I'm very disappointed with the fish and chips. My order was incorrect, the batter was average, and the chips tasted cheap and floury, almost like they had been stored in the fridge. The oil used wasn’t great either. Overall, it was not enjoyable and cost more than what I used to pay for better quality food. I've been a loyal customer through several owners, but I'm sorry to say that I'll be looking for other options from now on.
The new owners of Craigie Fish Inn have really done a fantastic job! It's great that they now accept EFTPOS as well. We intended to have fish and chips on Tuesday, not realizing they were closed, so we decided to try another local fish and chip spot instead. Thankfully for Craigie Fish Inn, the other place didn’t live up to our expectations, and from now on, we will always be loyal to Craigie Fish Inn!
I thought the food was excellent and the service quick. However, in this day and age having a business operating without eftpos is a huge inconvenience to customers. Perhaps you could let people know when they phone in an order that your business is still living in the dark ages. You could improve your business by looking into providing different payment options for your customers.

so disappointing since new owners have taken over. have been several times to give another chance and every time I go it's so much more expensive than previous owner and food is always over cooked and chewie. We got some on Sunday, spent $45 and we couldn't even eat it. the dogs wouldn't even eat it and they eat everything. Very frustrating.
This is undoubtedly one of the best local fish and chip shops! I always opt for the seafood basket, and it's such great value for the price! The quality of the seafood and chips is outstanding, and the cooking is simply delicious. The batter is perfectly crispy and flavorful, never too thick or improperly cooked.
Without a doubt, the best fish and chips I've ever had! The grilled Spanish mackerel is a standout. The chips are consistently perfect, and the squid is absolutely delicious! I've never been let down. Craigie Fish and Chips is an absolute winner. Best regards, the Lynches.
