We were the only customers in the restaurant around 3:15 in the afternoon. The service was lackadaisical at best, with the staff appearing disinterested and not fully focused on their work. This was our second visit, and on our first visit, my wife enjoyed the fries. However, during this visit, the specialty fries were undercooked so we had to send them back. My wife ordered wine, but they only gave her what seemed to be a 3 oz glass for $6.50. I ordered a build your own buffalo burger, but there was some confusion with the server. I would have given this restaurant 4 stars, but thanks to Ryan it's a solid 5! He's a burger expert who helped me create the perfect flavor combination. I customized the cheesy Jane by switching to pepperjack cheese, adding guacamole and Chipotle mayo, and having tortilla strips on the side. It was absolutely delicious! My boyfriend ordered the Sin City and enjoyed it, although he suggested getting the bacon on the side next time to avoid the mess. I highly recommend upgrading to the bottle caps or cheese curds instead of fries for one of the burgers. Overall, a fantastic experience thanks to Ryan's expertise and the tasty food.
During our recent visit to Colorado Springs we wanted a good hamburger and, based on the TA reviews, chose this place to eat. Needless to say the hamburgers were fair at best and not very tasty. Our meals were cold. The potato and zucchini fries were greasy and not very good. We also agree with one of other TA reviewers in that the staff looked like they had just woke up after a long evening and threw on some old dirty cloths on to come to work. To top it off, the cook was coughing in the direction of the burgers on the grill without a mask! Maybe it was just a bad day at the restaurant but we will for sure not return.
Great service, amazing food and a theme that I found nostalgic. My 9 year old is a lover of all things cheesy and chose the Fatty Melt . The burger was so big he had to move his salad off the plate so that he had room to cut it up (he couldn 't fit his mouth around it! . The shakes are themed as well and the flavor combinations may be a little odd sounding, but they totally work!This is one of the few times I have had a positive experience with the you get what you pay for theory. Burger fortifications are tasty, but in pictures look better and bigger. the garlauchburger had a bland garlic cream cheese. friends are good. Ketchup bottles can require good laundry.
