First off, I chose this location to celebrate a birthday only to be let down drastically. Second, the drinks. My iced tea tasted like dirty water, and my girlfriend's beer wasn't even what she asked for. Because she is sweet as pie and doesn't like confrontation she drank it. Third, when our food came... OMG! All of our food came out cold. My girlfriend and I got the steak plates and they actually had the nerve to put a cold salad on a hot plate with the steak and fries that was completely stone cold. Dishonest Marketing We went to crickets on the 4th after seeing the footlong wagyu hotdogs were $10. We ordered them and were then charged the full price of $15. After pointing out the advertisement we were told that was only applicable to a base hotdog with no additions. There is no option for a base hotdog on the menu, there are only three listed and they each have toppings. Our server did not bother to share this information until after giving us the check, when we had asked about other specials earlier. This feels very dishonest and manipulative. We chose this restaurant because there was a 30 minute wait at Nena’s two doors down, and this was a mistake. We waited 15 minutes at the bar with no bartender for 10 of those minutes and couldn’t order a drink for all that time, and then when we got to the table, we waited about 40 minutes for the food to come, most of it cold. I would give this a miss. Apparently, they are understaffed but still seated people at every table, which meant that it took forever to people get their food and their bills. Tables sat un-bussed for more than 10 minutes after people left. The food was OK, but the experience was not great.
Crickets Draft House offered a refreshing new experience. The interior is spacious, featuring plenty of tables and chairs, along with a dedicated bar area. The place is clean and well-organized, with condiments like salt, pepper, and ketchup readily available on the tables. Their menu boasts a diverse array of options. We tried the cheese fries and tater tots, as well as a jalapeño burger topped with bacon; there's also a classic cheeseburger for kids. This spot is a fantastic choice in Waco, and I highly recommend it if you're in the mood for a great burger.

Walked in the host wasn’t paying attention, she was on the phone, 3 employees walked by me and my girlfriend and we sit down by ourselves and then the same 3 employees walked back in and say we are not serving food anymore. Kitchen said it was open until 12pm and we got there at 10pm. Bad energy from the start
Great place for food, camaraderie, and a good selection of beer. However, I've been there 5 times, and each time about ⅓ of what I order is out of stock or waiting on delivery. Also, they do not staff the early evening NEARLY enough. Have to wait significant time to get attention from bar staff.
This is a fantastic place in downtown Waco, right by the Dr. Pepper Museum! The service was fast and sincere. The food was excellent, and the portion sizes were generous. The venue is spacious, featuring pool tables and an arcade room. My only issue was that it felt a bit too warm inside.
Please bring back the Beyond Meat option for Crickets' burgers! I really enjoy visiting Crickets frequently, but there are limited vegetarian choices available (other than nachos or a few random sides). The selection has become quite sparse since they removed the Beyond Meat Patty.
