I've been visiting Champery for nearly 20 years now and was very excited when I saw Coix de Culet had new ownership and a new lease of life. However, I went twice at Christmas and once this summer. The new decour is great, the food is very...good, albeit very expensive, but I guess that's what you pay for being at the top of the telecabin and in Switzerland. I can live with the later, but what I can't live with is how slow the service is. On each visit it took over an hour to get our food. The first time I put it down to being the beginning of the season but we want back a week or two later and it was just as bad you can't wait an hour for food with young kids, even adults shouldn't have to,...
We ate here twice on our week ski holiday to Avoriaz area. Fantastic setting, literally above the clouds. Service was good and food was lovely although pricey as you would expect for a ski area in the Swiss Alps! Worth it for a treat. We...had Salmon, Burgers, Chicken Salad, Goats cheese salad, mac and cheese, all great. Only complaint was the mac and cheese has bacon in it and my friend who ordered is a vegetarian and it never mentioned that on the menu.
The cafe staff are lazy and have no motivation in delivering basic customer service. It does baffle me why staff send food out knowing it’s not right. I ordered lasagne and chips. The lasagne arrived watery and cold in the middle. The chips arrived over...cooked. When questioned, the server looked blank. Over priced microwave food. This is the worst ever piste cafe.

The food is good, location excellent- the staff was bad and had an arrogant approach. Mistakes in receiving the order, delivering the order, errors in the bill and walked around the restaurant with my credit card without my permission. I will never come back!!
We had an excellent mid summer type of party here '70 style. Food is straight forward and tasty. Staff is helpful. DJ at the the party was well chosen. Easy to get to next to cable car station.
Nice locations, but we were send away from our table while we were ordering just because someone else preferred to sit there. Tip: always reserve your own table.

Budget un peu plus élevé, mais des plats de qualité et une vue imprenable de la terrasse sur les dents blanches... je vous conseil ce resto !
