The food at this restaurant was perfect from start to finish. I highly recommend trying the venison. However, the service was disappointing. We were greeted and seated with drinks and menus to order, but once we were at our table, we were forgotten about. Our food was brought out without a word, and we waited 45 minutes for our main course without any explanation or apology. While the desserts were delicious, we were not offered any additional drinks or coffee. Overall, the food and atmosphere were excellent, but the service left much to be desired. There is room for improvement in terms of customer service.

A lovely weekend to celebrate my wife’s birthday with family members. The staff could not have been more helpful. The food was excellent and service very good. We stayed in a garden room as we had our dog with us. Perfectly comfortable and everything worked.

We have been returning to the Crown and Castle for many years and we have never been disappointed. The food and service were both superb as always. My only suggestion for improvement would be to bring back the warm chocolate pudding! Many thanks, H and M.

Delicious twists on classic dishes. Such flavours that Beef Tartare was amazing, and the Red Cabbage!!!! Just a shame no oysters due to severe effects of recent weather. Local produce throughout the menu Reserva una mesa ahora

We took advantage of the Sunday stroller deal with a map to walk around Orford and a lovely Sunday lunch including a free glass of wine. Lovely atmosphere and staff and we will definitely return

The food is delightful, the welcoming is great, and the restaurant is very dog-friendly. The rooms are comfortable, making it the perfect starting point for exploring the Suffolk coast.
