I feel like this place gets a bad rap. It's really good food for a good price. Their chicken over rice with white sauce is to die for! Fries are also pretty good. I haven't had their fried chicken yet. I see a lot of reviews saying this place is dirty, it isn't really. The vent hood, walls, countertops and everywhere the food is prepared is clean. I think it's the building itself that looks a little dingy. And it is in a bad area unfortunately. This can't be helped. But the staff are always kind to me. I come here weekly. It's a no-frills take out joint.
Nice variety, Immense Prices look very good Portions Product served to me Room temp chicken Soggy , not crispy Fried and Cold French fries And cool , not even warm Jamaican pies I am giving them this score Because it was near closing time But I still believe If you can 't do it right Don 't do it at ALL !!! ESPECIALLY WHEN CHARGING US !!!? AND YOU ONLY GET ONE CHANCE TO MAKE A FIRST IMPRESSION JUST SAYIN
I have been a regular customer at Crown Fried Chicken for the past five years, and I can confidently say that the food is consistently excellent. The chicken over rice, lamb over rice, chicken wings with fries, and gyros are standout items that you absolutely have to try. The food is really delicious, though it is on the pricier side. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to eat in Scranton.
Today, we decided to stop by and try the lamb over rice, and I couldn't be happier that we did! There was a generous portion of rice, and we even requested extra lamb. If you're in the area, you definitely need to give this place a try; it's easy to find, though parking is a bit limited. The staff were also very friendly. I'll definitely be returning for more lamb over rice!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, and the food was incredible! We arrived a bit late, but they still served us warm, high-quality meals. The chicken and rice dish was exceptional and has definitely made it onto my list of places to revisit. If you're looking for a great lunch spot, be sure to check this place out!
Surprisingly great if you look at it and then Popeyes down the street you think I will go to Popeyes but Popeyes has no handle on crown crown is the king in this area
This is the best chicken I have found in the area. Most of the food in the area is nasty, but this is the best I had to visit it twice in one day.
Awesome overall best chicken place in town ... Stay away from the game store behind it tho, the guy that works there nights is a real diick
