This was the most expensive hotel I have ever stayed and i been places…at when it comes to food and drinks, yet the quality did not match the prices at all. I think recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Newcastle and had an outstanding experience throughout our visit. The hotel was modern, immaculate, and maintained to an exceptionally high standard in every area. The staff were professional, attentive, and welcoming from arrival to departure, providing first-class customer service at all times. I got a voucher to book afternoon tea and after ringing for near a week to try and book it wouldn’t work and when finally got through was told was fully booked. I then rang too book (a couple days later) for the week after the date i wanted and on the off chance i asked if they had the date i originally wanted available and they said yes so the woman who had dealt with me previously had lied to me. Anyways we go to the afternoon tea, food was beautiful and presentation was good but unfortunately the service was a massive let down for me, it took over 45 minutes to have anything in front of us and by the time the food got there the tea was cold. I booked the CP as we were in town to see the Prodigy at the Arena and the hotel was very good. Reception staff were friendly and attentive. Bedroom was spacious and had everything you need for a pleasant stay. Bed was comfortable. The Gin bar has comfortable seating and nice decor. Breakfast was buffet Great choice , bacon sausage were excellent) with additional made to order items such as eggs benedict , kippers etc. Parking is a short walk away 30 metres) and costs £15 for overnight and you pay through an app but we found out at reception that it's only £10 if paid at the hotel , so keep this in mind when parking tbh there should be signage saying that CP guest have preferential rate paya...

Great location (next to the train station), hotel and services are good but all dampened by a rude encounter with staff named Daisy. Daisy was incredibly rude at breakfast this morning. How does one work in hospitality and exude the most unpleasant demeanour? Lovely hotel but could do better with people they choose to hire.
Opposite of central station, reasonable price, 15 minutes to shopping mall area by walking, highly recommended! Mini bar provides sparkle water free of charge, breakfast is good, bedding is comfortable, when you meet any problem, call receiption, they come and solve immy!
Canny hotel first time staying very clean and tidy. Breakfast was very nice and plentiful full English to fruits. Short walk in to the city plenty to do and see short walk to river. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.
