Cruz De Tea - Reservar una mesa

We stopped here on the way back from visiting Teide. 3 tapas, a drink and bread for €10 each. The quality of the food was so good. Homemade traditional dishes and vegan/ vegetarian options catered for. But the best thing was the Red Wine. I am not an expert but maybe a wine snob. I like to try the local wine all over the world but the red here was really soooo good, I bought a bottle to take away. Apperently Tenerife North doesn't really import wine so everyone makes there own. You would not think this was cheap home brew. Its not actually for sale but when I asked if I could buy some, they gave me a litre in a recycled Rum glass bottle for €10 to takeaway! I would happily have paid £20. If you are reading this, I urge you to export! It was a fast red...the best comparison to an award winning wine I got In Bratslavia. Anyway, food view and waiter were also perfect so do call in.

Este lugar es genial. La comida era absolutamente deliciosa con platos caseros y clásicos llenos de sabor, y a un excelente precio. Optamos por el menú degustación de 4 platos, una bebida por persona y un plato de postres para compartir por €11 por cabeza. Elegimos estofado de garbanzos y chorizo, queso de cabra a la parrilla, huevos rotos con patatas y cordero marinado con patatas. Nos sentamos en la terraza con vistas a la ladera de la montaña. Parece que sirven comida hasta las 5, luego cierran a las 6pm. Llegamos a las 4.45pm, así que estaba tranquilo, pero el camarero fue muy amable y hablaba un excelente inglés. Estábamos cansados y hambrientos después de caminar por el Parque Nacional del Teide, y este fue una parada excelente de camino de regreso.

We stopped here for lunch after visiting Teide. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious. We would definitely stop here again if we are in the area

Stopped here hor a late lunch/dinner on our way from Teide. Excellent food and really nice family bussines. Definitely ask for the beef in sauce!
