I have loved and ordered their empanadas for years . Was VERY disappointed tonight when i ordered a Cuban burrito that says, on their menu, burritos made with your choice of rice and beans, plantain, sour cream, lettuce, cheese blend and salsa on the side amd THIS is what i got. : I called them to ask about the sour cream, lettuce, cheese blend and salsa on the side as advertised and was told that 's how they make it. Do they think those specks of greens count as lettuce? Where 's the sour cream? Where 's the cheese blend? Where 's the salsa? ...on the side???????? Pretty sad, since I 've been ordering from them for LONG time, since they were originally in Dumont......
First off...as I walked in Mayra greeted me nicely. I definitely felt how short staffed they were and shortly after Felipa came in to the rescue. Well...I only came in for a Cubano Sandwich and after looking around and their menu I ended up taking a lot more delicious food than anticipated. My Cuban sandwich was perfectly and exquisitely crafted and it pretty much melted in mouth bite after bite. ...and whatever you do go there and be ready to pig out...Yes pig out!

Place has gone down hill; truly sad. Freshness less than desired. Hit or miss on taste. Had pork chunks that were under cooked and had to be throw on pan at home to make edible. Cuban sandwiches soggy and tasteless. I never write reviews, and here I am.Order was wrong and realized when I opened at home. Tried to call them with no luck, you can?t speak with anyone; everything isautomated and have to send emails.

I realize I only worked there for a short time, but you can't overlook missing a whole duck and three orders of Maduros. They don’t answer the phone and leave a general voicemail that’s full. I had to drive back 20 minutes only to wait even longer because they hadn’t prepared the duck at all. The only response we received was an apology about being short-staffed. I won’t be returning.
I understand being short staffed. But you miss an entire entree, and three orders of Maduros. Not answer the phone but send you to a general voice-mail that is full. I love love love this spot, food is fantastic and so are the portions and prices. Try everything, my current favorite is any of the burritos, sooooo good.????
