Cuban Kitchen - Reservar una mesa

Stopped by to pick up a late lunch/early dinner of Lechon. Succulent, tender pork pieces, black beans and rice, plantain, pickled red onion and sauces. I will be back. The owner isn't open for dinner right at the moment, but I am hoping she will be soon. There used to be a Cuban/Caribbean restaurant on San Carlos Ave in San Carlos, but it closed, sadly. I am hoping she can extend her hours and stay for a long while in San Mateo. The food was very tasty. Of course, I also loved the music playing in the background. Definitely going back for the Cubano!

One of my favorite places to go. The food is unbelievable! The staff is friendly And go the extra mile to satisfy its customers. As far as the food goes I recommend the lechon it's among one the best things I have EVER had. I recently got the Cuban and it was crispy with the perfect ratio of mustard pickles pulled pork and ham it is also a must get. If I could give six stars I would.

Okay possibly the best Sandwich Cubano ever. First time and will be my last! What a find, yum.

Good Cuban pork (Lechon) and great rice and beans. Very casual but that worked for me
