Ordered popcorn chicken. It was pretty soft.. nothing like popcorn. I was trying to show off Taiwanese food to my friends… but.. it’s embarrassing. Other branch has better popcorn chicken for sure. Very disappointing. Service is very friendly though. But the food is… very disappointing. Hope it just one instance.
their chicken tastes like rubber ? how can this be their most popular dish? would still come back here to try their other things but if you're going to give prison food don't charge for $12.. definitely not like Taiwan at all which was very fresh in their
They do not pick up their phones, minus one. Plum fries are to die for. Although they are very pricey now at $8 (est.2022), it's a great pick me up snack. Location is big and lots of seating inside. Service was fast and efficient. Very lit up and clean.
This restaurant is a great option for those craving Taiwanese street food. Ordering ahead allows for a quick turnaround, but parking on the busy 3rd Avenue may be a bit of a challenge. Be sure to allocate some extra time to find parking. Reserva una mesa ahora
I really enjoy the street snacks at this restaurant! However, I am disappointed that they have changed the mushroom dish to a thicker version. I preferred the thinner mushrooms as they were crispier and more flavorful.
Every time we come to San Mateo, even though we are already stuffed with a full meal from elsewhere, we will still swing by here and get their fried popcorn chicken or the XL chicken. It's that good. Enough said. ?
Found a metal stable in the rice 滷肉飯 , from the delivery. So scary if I swallowed it ?. There are also pieces of egg shell this is fine comparing to the metal stable.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! My favorite dishes are the popcorn chicken with rice and the grandma braised chicken.
