Cubanos Atl- Sandy Springs

A friend recommended this place, so I decided to take my 16-year-old son. We ordered the Miami and Tampa sandwiches. While the sandwiches were okay, my son noticed that they came without pickles and mustard. The cashier hinted that he had forgotten to add them, which was odd since they were listed on the menu. My son remembered the Cuban sandwich we had in Miami and was honestly disappointed. It just needed some simple dill pickles and yellow mustard. It was also quite pricey—our total for two sandwiches, two cans of soda, and a water came to $36, not including the tip. The staff seemed new, as expected, but they definitely need better training. I’ll give it one more try.

I was born in Havana. I am in my 60s and have lived in NYC, NJ, Miami and Atlanta. I am used to very good Cuban food (mother) and restaurants (Coco Loco, Versailles, La Carreta). This place is on par with all of them (Disculpa mama) from the moment you walk in to when you leave belly full and satisfied. I must admit, I get emotional because of all the people that rush to my mind while I am there. This is the place and my go to place for great Cuban experience (people, drinks, food, ambiance).

Honestly one has to wonder if people in Roswell are foodies. This was mediocre at best. Place is cute, with the patio sunny and pleasant. Cuban bread pretty good. We lived in south Florida for years, had authentic Cuban food many, many times. We like new places, want them to succeed yet we know this one better pick up its pace. Pork was grainy, tough and fatty. Ham is ham, mustard is mustard, and pickles are pickles. $17.00 later, feeling cheated.

As a Cuban native who grew up in Miami and has lived in the Atlanta area for the past 20 years, I can confidently say that Cubanos ATL satisfies our family's cravings for Cuban sandwiches. These sandwiches are genuinely outstanding. The meats, the cheese, and the buttery toasted bread are all perfect! I've been eager to try this restaurant for a while now, and I finally visited a couple of weeks ago. The food was incredible, and the Cuban coffee surpassed anything I had tasted at a Cuban restaurant in Miami Beach! The flan was simply divine! I will definitely be coming back.

Was there yesterday and got a Miami Cuban sandwich. Service was great but the sandwich was disappointing. The ham was gristly, and there were very few pickles on the sandwich which I think make the sandwich. The best thing about it was the bread.

By chance we were near here one day and thought we would give it a try. I'm so glad we did, it's absolutely delicious, great Cubanos. I've had many in Miami, and this place didn't disappoint, unlike many others that I've tried here in Georgia.

Cuban here and let me tell you, best cuban sandwiches in Atlanta period, my favorite food here are el pollo special and the cafe con leche, the place is small but nice, everytime Im craving authentic cuban sandwich this is the Reserva una mesa ahora

The Sandy Springs location is great. Great food and service, but they need benches to sit on while they prepare your food. Keep up the great work!
