Cucina de Manila - Reservar una mesa

This humble filipino restaurant serves your typical filipino food. You can dine in or take away your food. We attended a small get together in this place and I was surprised that they are using party utensils and plates. I even asked my cousin, isn't this a restaurant? So why give us plastic spoon, fork and plates. I guess that's the only reservation I have about the place. The food was okay. We had crispy pata, chicken adobo, kaldereta, pansit and rice. While dining, I found out that they also have the famous "boodle fight". Just give them a call about the details. Tempting to do so next time around.

I have tried few Filipino restaurants in Australia and even when in the Philippines and nothing could match up to this restaurant especially their Crispy Pata. The best. Taste like home cooking at its best. This place was recommended to me by a friend and we had to drive all the way from the city to Rooty Hill where the restaurant is located and it was well worth it. Very popular among local people. The place was full of diners as well as for take away food customers. The staff were very polite and always smiling. Will definitely come back whenever we are in Sydney. Highly recommend.

Place looked inviting and having being to the Phillipines and enjoying some good thought to try it. Staff are great but food was just average. I did like the sisig, but the other dishes had some tough dry bits of meat. Beef flavour was nice bit pork was way too sweet. Maybe better on weekend nights when it seems they do more dishes.

I enjoyed the bistek (beef steak cooked in soy sauce, lemon and onion rings). Looking forward to visiting this eatery to try their other dishes. We had a late quick dinner here on a weeknight fortunately they were open until 10ish.

come and taste it, you're be surprised how good they are. price is mid-range, it's a value for your hard earned currency. manang service is great, and manong is kind and helpful. go for it.
