Although not a suburb you'd usually pass through unless you live in the area, Cucina Espresso is definitely worth making an effort to visit. There are tables outside and also inside if you prefer. I opt for a table outside so we can enjoy the fresh air. Owner, Rocco and the other staff are really busy and warn us and other patrons that it's an approximate 30-40 minute wait. I didn't mind as I sipped on my french earl grey tea.The staff tell us that they regularly get feedback and have recently added the house specials to the menu. Most people would agree that the food is alright, but please take account on who and when. Who are they serving, and during what moment are they serving you. I was sitting close to the kitchen at that time, and I could hear swear words...coming out from the kitchen. After all it is an open kitchen type of cafe. Yes I could see they are under the pressure of many customers. Well to account my experience, I had the worst time waiting for my food, in every restaurant wait time is usually between 15 to 20 minutes. My husband had heard about this cafe , probably from golf buddies at Concord Golf club. We definitke weren't disappointed. The lovely waitresses found us a table, even asking a group of ladies who had kids if they could have one of the 3 tables they were taking up. There were a lot of families with little kids at thr time we were there, but yhen every cafe in Concord was the same. I had one of the Uovo dishes with eggplant, it was amazing and very filling dispite the size of it. I didn't even eat the bread.The coffee came out hot and fast.Definitly going back.
Looking at other reviews here it appears that my experience was not an isolated incident. I ordered and paid for a coffee, a regular customer then comes in and places her order. Regular is then given her coffee and leaves before they even start to make mine. I was given the excuse that because I ordered almond milk mine had to be made separately... why would the other orders have to be made first? It makes no sense! Very dissapointed that regulars get preferential treatment. I will not be going back or becoming a regular here.
Three of us had lunch here yesterday it is very good for every type food. It serves large portions so go hungry. My wife had the penne bolagnaise. My Son had spaggeti seafood and I had the salmon benedict all were excellent and huge. I noticed some of the food going by and I would have been happy with all that I saw go by.
I have been coming to this cafe for many years and even though I moved out of the area I still make an effort to go every second day to this cafe. Food and coffee is well worth the drive. Service is given with a smile and I can never fault the food or coffee. Best in concord.

I frequent this cafe very often and it is the best coffee in Concord It is consistent, hot and personal (they remember how you like it and aim to please). Highly recommend
Good breakfast and lunch, can't ask for more :). Good reliable cafe in concord. Maybe a blackboard specials would complete the place.
