*CASH ONLY* Bring your bills. You're going to have to pay double digits! This Szechuan restaurant is at the back corner of the Monterey Park Plaza. It's on the side of the dental office. They had some canopies for outdoor seating. I saw some patrons bring their own beer and were offered a bottle opener. Parking is easy but can be busy during peak hours. There is no public bathroom. The food I ordered was too much for two people but I really wanted to see what they had to offer. I loved the water boil fish $18.99! It goes so well with white rice, and I loved that they put cabbage on the bottom (as opposed to bean sprouts). It was so flavorful and better tasting than the water boil fish I had...

I decided to try this place after hearing my friends rave about their $1.00 lamb skewers, and I'm thrilled to report that they lived up to all the praise. Each skewer is just $1.00, and if you order ten, you get an extra one for free—a fantastic bargain! The prices here are already impressively low, and the complimentary skewer is a lovely bonus. The restaurant is quite small, accommodating only 13 people, as noted by the fire department, but it is clean and well-organized. The service is friendly and exceptional. When you enter, you can see the staff in the corner preparing the skewers, which guarantees that the meat is incredibly fresh. I would definitely make the trip back purely for thos...

The food at this restaurant is amazing! On our first visit, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was an incredibly friendly person and made sure we had a great experience. When we returned for our second visit, the restaurant was really busy! While the other servers weren't quite as welcoming, I suppose that's common in many Asian restaurants, haha. The dishes are fantastic—I've tried their skewers, lamb casserole hot pot, and hot and sour noodles, and I've enjoyed every single one!

This restaurant only accepts cash! They frequently change their prices, and what’s listed on the menu often doesn’t reflect what you’ll actually pay. The staff expects generous tips and even suggests specific amounts, which I found to be quite rude. They state that they don’t pay their waitstaff a base salary, meaning they depend heavily on tips, which I believe is not legal. I won’t be coming back! Dine-in: Yes. Reserva una mesa ahora

I absolutely adored my experience! While I usually lean towards spicy dishes, I was craving the lamb noodle soup, and it exceeded my expectations—it was packed with flavor. The staff was amazing, which made the visit even more delightful. I will definitely come back if I'm ever in LA again!

The food was good, but the cleanliness of the restaurant could definitely be better. Overall, the meal was satisfactory and reasonably priced. I would rate the food a 3 out of 5.

Do not order the Lamb Vegetable Hot Pot. It mixed by half bones that are not supposed to be eating. And the lamb was not fresh. Cash only. Reserva una mesa ahora

Lack of integrity. YangXieZi is mixed by half non-eatable and cheap lamb bones that not supposed to be grouped into YangXieZi.
