My family and I decided to try this new restaurant out based on its reviews. Upon entry the service seem to be slow but decided to give it a shot considering the reviews. Actually, I think the reviews are fraud as a service was awful. They took over 45 minutes for pizza and the order wasn't even done correctly. When our order was place the restaurant a a wasn't busy. My wife's saw so many violations in the kitchen from the chef looking through the window. He was drinking from a pitcher and had an attitude and was always on his phone. The pizza is good but I've had better pizza than this and it's not worth a five star rating. The price for the area is also ridiculous considering lousy service...
I haven’t been this blown way by pizza in quite a while. This is the best I’ve tried in Charleston. I come here every other week for business three days and I like to try different places.Aasia the host is phenomenal. She is the icing on the cake. Very friendly and knowledgeable. She is a pizza fan herself from Italy. That’s worth the price of admission right there.I tried the pizza, lasagna and a fried calzone, which I’ve never had a fried calzone before only a regular.Both were amazing. I have been to this restaurant a number of times in the past 6 months. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. We've tried many dishes including veal, chicken, pasta and a number of appetizers. In each case it was prepared perfectly and each dish was universally enjoyed. Prices are very reasonable, parking is not an issue. I would definitely recommend it as a fabulous Italian restaurant
This place is incredible! We were not expecting great Italian food in Mount Pleasant, but we were PLEASANTLY surprised! Jim was an EXCELLENT waiter; timely, polite, gave honest feedback and recommendations. The limoncello was fantastic; made in-house. Every dish our party had was delicious. We will definitely be returning!

Always an outstanding dinner. The dishes are tasty, perfectly seasoned, beautiful presentation and delicious. As good as an Italian Restaurant can be. Decor is upscale, but not pretentious. Host, wait staff and all were very professional. Excellent wine list. Dessert first rate.
On vacation and family wanted pizza for dinner. Based on the reviews decided to give this place a try. So glad we did. Pizza was excellent! Everyone in our party ordered a different pie, and everyone was very happy with their food.

Our server Chris was awesome and the food was very nice. The appetizers were delicious and the overall service was great.
The Ortolanna pizza was superb. Our server was wonderful. Lovely place.
