First time in this established San Mateo Casual Dining Establishment. You order in the register and quickly bring your food. It was absolutely shameful. Maybe a little oily, especially the paratha, but it was a splurgical night and totally delicious! The Modern Times Sour beer from the bar that is connected to the restaurant has really complicated the flavors. I had cauliflower instead of rice in one of my dishes and it was fantastic. A great experience. It would have been fun to have some veganized Indian Sweet for dessert, but they were all milk based. I was pretty happy anyway. Not cheap, but generous portions and delicious. I will return!

I love it that they have a lot of vegan options, clearly marked on the menu, so you don't have to go through the burden of asking every time you eat there. I tried their thali plate and the vegan burger and they were absolutely delicious (been there twice already). Be aware that their side sauces are not vegan, but hopefully they will add vegan options in the future. Will be back for sure! Ask for not spicy if you're not a fan of really spicy meals.

great place to stop lunch or dinner! they have a big menu, and many items are vegan or can be vegan made, everything is clearly marked what is really nice. I had the spud and flower dish that has rice, cauliflower, carrots, chana marsala and vegetables. it is very satisfying and tasty; I definitely recommend it. the workers are all friendly and helpful, and the service is generally quite fast.
Cool ambiance but they were out of over half the cocktails and wouldn?t make anything off the menu (not even a normal well drink) They also were out of wine completely. The cocktails are just made in batches, not by the actual bartender and they onlyhave very few of them so I wouldn?t trust the menu online.

It's a small little bar on the backside of Curry Up Now. Although it says that they are open till 12 AM, they got closed at 10:30 PM on a Friday. So we did not get a chance to try their cocktails.
