What a fabulous find! And two visits on a cold damp November day is surely a testimony to how good this cosy little Cwtch Cafe is! Upon entering, we were instantly offered a warm Welsh welcome. And no matter the weather, we got the impression there would always be a warm Welsh welcome! The menu was cracking, with good, honest food lovingly prepared and presented. All day breakfast perfectly poached eggs with my daughters eggs Benedict Coronation chicken baguette very tasty Cheese and beans baked potato excellent size portion A super sausage sandwich that pleased my four year old granddaughter! And what definitely tipped the scales in her favour was a freshly made delicious raspberry milkshak...

We stopped off here twice in one day! First time we found it whilst looking for somewhere to have lunch that was suitable for 3 adults and a child. They do all day breakfasts, deli items such as sandwiches and baguettes and jacket potatoes. We chose a sandwich for the child, baguette, jacket potato and eggs benedict. Every table was full whilst we were there, and even with our food choices being all different, they arrived quickly and well made. My poached eggs were absolutely perfect, which is always a pleasant surprise in a bust establishment! We also had decaf mochas, which, you wouldn't be able to tell by taste they were decaf. Popped in here for a coffee. We were on the lookout for a custard slice to accompany our drink and this quaint little coffee shop has a beautiful selection of appetizing treats on offer including the all important custard slice. Outside this cafe there are a number of cute pods or wooden huts. I think there were four and they seat approximately four per hut. They have leather seating and a heater located above to keep you warm on chilly days. The staff were very pleasant. Reasonably priced and tasty custard slice. Dog friendly too. All in all a lovely find along the high street of this very pleasant little town. Please visit

My partner myself and my dog visited this lovely cafe. We sat in one of the booths outside. It was a very good experience for us. We both have food intolerances.Our needs were met without complaint. In fact we were asked specific questions without even having to negotiate from the start. It was a breath of fresh air from previous experiences in other establishments. I agree picky people can be a pain. But when you are unable to eat certain things. It can get complicated. I highly recommend a visit here. Reserva una mesa ahora

I always make sure to visit this restaurant when I'm in Abergavenny, but it can be difficult to get a table because it's always packed. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the cakes are absolutely delicious! They're definitely not good for my waistline, but I can't resist. Keep up the great work!

This quaint cafe is absolutely lovely, with super friendly staff and amazing food at very reasonable prices. I have visited twice now after going to Abergavenny market, and both times the food was fantastic! I highly recommend this place - keep up the good work!

The food and service was excellent and the atmosphere charming. What made it really special was that they went out of their way in handling a misunderstanding on our part. They were most gracious and kind in their accommodation.We would highly recommend it.

Always a great welcome here from the owner and staff. Food is always top notch, with the Buck Rarebit my top tip! Would definitely recommend for breakfast or lunch.

The best staff, the best food, turkey and stuffing baguettes with cranberry sauce delicious and the best coffee. The marmalade fruit cake also delicious
