D & T Seafood & Restaurant

We went to Twillingate a bit early in the season, so many places were not yet open. After a day of driving, and checking in to our cottage, we went to D&T only to find out they had just closed for the day (early, but...business was very slow). No worries! Dianne opened up right away and put together a fine order of fish and chips for us to take away. We took out food from D&T once more before we left, and were completely satisfied with the service and quality of the food. The menu is diverse, but certainly reflects the fresh seafood available in Twillingate. We would eat there again!

Visited this past summer and had one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. NO additives to the burger just beef. The wedges were awesome. My friend had the pan fried cod and it looked sooooo good, she really enjoyed every bite. For...dessert we had a partridgeberry sundae and the taste was lovely. Will definitely be back. Give it a try when in Twillingate, you won't be disappointed. Its easy to find, just left at the towns intersection with a beautiful big yellow deck.

Came here for a last minute lunch before a hike, so glad we did. Probably the best fish and chips I’ve ever had on the island. Real hand cut fries, homemade tartar sauce, great fish. Get the creamy crab dip as a starter you...will not be disappointed. Homemade iced tea also delicious! Wish we had room for dessert.

Had a couple different meals at D T restaurant in Twillingate the lobster dinner was done to perfection. The burgers were delicious and homemade with home fries. A must try while in Twillingate. Fast and friendly service Thank you for everything and I will...sure be back in my next visit to the island

Not expensive and not upper scale. However it is clean, friendly, and the food was superb. Fresh, fresh fish that was not over-cooked with homemade fries! The washroom was clean. A small gift store is onsite.

We had the chowder and struck up conversation with locals and a German woman traveling with dog. Chowder and chatting excellent. We happened here by chance but would recommend. Enjoy. Tom from Seattle

The place is nothing special but they do have a great view of the harbor. Typical family-style food. Lots of deep fried stuff. Friendly staff. Selection of local craft brews.

No music playing, the lady at the front was sort of put off when we asked to seat ourselves, and no one paid us any mind until finally we just left.

Typical local food place. Service was excellent and the food was family style. Chips were homemade and a good serving.

Friendly staff, great lunch of soup and sandwiches, reasonably priced. It was recommended to us by a local person.
