I went to da LaPosta with my family, and we all agreed there was almost nothing good about this restaurant. I accepted that the price was going to be high for the food when I came in the door, but I expected to at least enjoy my food. We ordered bread for the table, which most places would give for free, and it had no flavor. The dishes that we ordered were chicken parmesan, gnocchi with mushrooms, hot honey pizza, and a bowl of spaghetti for my 10 year old. The pasta had a strange taste and my daughter did not care for it. Seriously, how do you mess up plain pasta? The gnocchi was very oily. The mushrooms that came with it tasted ok, but it was a tiny appetizer size portion, that cost $30....
What Pizza place runs out of pepperoni? Da LaPosta did and it was really disappointing. Walked in with no reservation on a Friday night and the place was really busy and loud. The Hostess wasn't sure when we could get seated so we ordered pizza to go. We came back to pick up our pizzas about 15 minutes later and the hostess informed us they were out of pepperoni and replaced it with sausage. Really? Been ordering pizzas for more than 30 years and I've never had this experience. And, the pizza was overcooked. Not going back to da LaPosta.
Updated review: I still think it's the best pizza in greater Boston. However, the takeaway service is terrible look at the burned meatballs. Understood that you're not serving someone who can return the feedback immediately, but this is bad hospitality. Please, owner, more attention to quality control. I am pretty sure your nonna would have been embarrassed if she knew you were serving these polpette to your guests.
Worst scam in the history of scams. 24 dollars for barely any pasta! the portion is minuscule compared to the size of the box it’s in. Unbelievable. Never ever returning back here. Thought for 24 dollars you would get some moneys worth. F this place.

Contrary to the positive reviews our meal was underwhelming. The pizza didn't have much flavor and was soggy and thin in the middle. The cocktails were similarly 2nd rate. Service was slow and inattentive at the bar where we could get a seat.
Wow! Amazing eggplant, amazing pizza! I was hesitant about going out to eat for pizza but this is another level of deliciousness I don’t think I can eat normal pizza again !
Really good for but very expensive. Ordered two pizzas and a salad and it was close to $70! Absolutely insane for the quality of pizza and how big they are.
We just ordered the Margarita and Meatball pizza. Wow! Some of the best pizzas we have ever had! Great flavours, amazing base and all round delicious!

Pizza is absolutely amazing. Very expensive for a small pizza, but worth it (cheaper than a trip to Italy).
