Da Sesto's is a fantastic family-owned Italian restaurant that we've been enjoying for almost a decade, and we have never experienced a disappointing meal. Our favorites include the Chicken Alla Sesto, Gnocchi Gorgonzola, the veal dish with white wine, artichokes, and roasted red peppers, and the Linguine with Clams. I appreciate that every meal includes a salad or soup, along with delicious bread and a couple of dipping sauces (sundried tomato and pesto). Da Sesto's is our go-to spot for Italian date nights and offers moderate prices compared to other places in St. Petersburg. It's definitely worth the extra five-minute drive over to Pinellas Park—trust me!
We absolutely love Da Sesto’s and have visited several times, although it had been a while since the pandemic. We really appreciate the changes made to the restaurant; it now feels intimate and cozy. We kicked off our meal with appetizers, including cheesy garlic bread and bruschetta, both of which were delicious. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli, and it was prepared beautifully. My husband enjoyed his spaghetti dinner, and our friends, who joined us, had the lasagna, all of which was fantastic. Our server, Derek, was excellent and attentive throughout our visit.
My friends and I dined at this restaurant on a Monday evening, and we had a truly fantastic meal and overall dining experience. I ordered the chicken piccata, which I often choose, and I can confidently say it was one of the best I've ever had. My friends both ordered the osso buco and couldn’t stop raving about how delicious it was. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to St. Pete's!
The bread and dips were fantastic! While I wasn't too fond of the soup I ordered, the Carbonara was some of the best I've ever had. The service was decent, though a bit slow, so keep that in mind. I didn't mind the wait since it was a lovely date night, but if you're in a hurry, this might not be the ideal place. Also, it's a good idea to make reservations in advance, especially on weekends.

We had to return true Italian food that I rate as tops..excellent; the decor is inviting coming in out of the heat... cool and calm, conducive to a pleasant dining experience...hits the top of our list of favorite local restaurants. In other words a must.
We have enjoyed Da Sesto over the years. Since they have expanded it may not be quite as good as before. I commented to my wife that it was a little more personable in the smaller old place when we got to meet Da Sesto. Excellent entries and service.
This restaurant is truly exceptional! The food, the music, and oh, the wine were absolutely perfect! I enjoyed every aspect of my experience. This is definitely the place to be! I can't wait to return for another amazing evening!
