Have been visiting this cafe in Yarraville for over 7 years now and this was morning we attempted to visit for breakfast and it was nothing short of disappointing. We arrived and no one greeted us as they appeared busy so we read the room...and sat down assuming they would be with us soon to pro menus. After 10 minutes this hadn’t happened so we got up to grab some menus so we could pick what we wanted to then order. Still a fair time later no one came to take our order so we got up and lined up to place our order since no one wanted to serve us. I ordered a breakfast roll and a coffee at this restaurant, and was instructed to go outside to pick up my coffee in the rain. While waiting for my breakfast roll, I was asked rudely if I had to be back at work. I brought my breakfast back to my office to eat with my tablet medication that needed to be taken with food. However, when I opened the roll, I found it to be cold and stale. I didn't have time to go back and get a fresh one, so I only ate a little bit and threw the rest away. It was not worth the money. Normally, the service at this restaurant is great, but this experience was disappointing.

Despite the power outage and lack of internal lighting, the dining experience was enjoyable as I had the place to myself while others braved the cold outside. I opted for a coffee and a sausage roll, both of which were decent but not outstanding. The sausage roll was particularly noteworthy for its spicy tomato chutney and the addition of maize and hemp seeds.

Choice of coffees and cakes and hot food. There's a barista who's happy to use my BYO cup, a cook I had a very large sausage roll with lots of sauce one lunchtime. Another time a caramel muffin as I waited for the bus...to Highpoint. Newspapers are usually available. They are located on the way to the train station into town. Reserva una mesa ahora

Stopped in for brunch while visiting some friends, we sat outside with two babes in high chairs. Staff were amazingly helpful and very supportive of the vegan options. Brunch was amazing, corn fritters loaded with avocado and deliciousness! Coffee was great. Banana bread was to...die for. Definitely recommend.

I have been frequenting this restaurant once or twice a week for many years and have always been impressed by the quick and super-friendly service. They make their chai from leaves and always get the honey to tea ratio just right. I would suggest avoiding the caramel slice as it is incredibly addictive!

I stopped in here for an iced coffee on a warm day after walking the dog for a few kilometres. The table service out the front was fast, friendly and they offered food, drinks etc. The iced coffee came out quickly and it was really...good. With good coffee and good service, why wouldn't you come back?

I stopped here for a quick bite to eat on my way to the train station. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I ended up getting a caramel slice and it was to die for. Best I’ve had in a while!
