D'agostini's Fish And Chips

First visit to this chippy because of all the excellent reviews, the initial impressions were good as very clean and the staff friendly; however, the fish chips were pretty disappointing. The batter was too heavy, laying flat to the fish not light and crispy...as expecting from other reviews, the chips were cut a little too thin and could have been cooked just a little longer. To top it off the prices were a little higher than other chippies and if you wanted a box you have to pay for it, these are free in other chippies.

Coming home after a long day in London we decided to give D’Agostini’s a try. Normally we use a different place but quite a few friends had commented on D’Agostini’s so it was a good chance to put it to the test. I’m delighted to...say it was every bit as good as people had been telling us. The batter was light and crispy, nothing was greasy. Incredibly generous portions and everyone tucked in happily. It will be our go to fish and chip shop from now on.

Been here many times over the years however it is hit or miss if we enjoy it or not Chips can be very soggy and clumped in a ball on the few occasions we have recently been here the chip quality has improved and they...are more crispy and not soggy Staff are always friendly can feel they are on their best behaviour as the owner appears to be very strict- not Necessarily a negative point though.

The best fish and chip shop ever, called in on the way home and had mini fish and chips for tea tonight and it was fantastic. I always go here, have tried other places but this beats them all and will not go to any...other fish and chip shop. Looking forward to my next visit. Reserva una mesa ahora

After trying them all I am qualified to pronounce D'Agostinis the best Chippie in Folkestone. Away from the Seafront this Chippie relys mainly on local trade, with a good turnover batter is always crisp and chips nice n fresh.

Lovely food, always perfectly cooked! This family run fish and chip shop is where my family and I regularly go when we want a fish supper. Its very clean and friendly and the food is always faultless.

A good place to go with a very high score. Good service. Very clean. This has been in Folkestone since I have been here two years longer. It's on the corner. Nice tiles. Opening times are good.

Delicious food and exceptionally clean premises, we had the cod the batter was light and crispy and the cod fell apart- delicious

this is one of my favourite places to go for fish and chips. the service is always friendly and the food is excellent
