Tonight, we ordered their chirashi, which has been revised to just one size but is still priced at $35, the former price for the extra large deluxe. However, it had significantly less fish now, which feels like a joke, and they've eliminated the soup and salad that used to accompany it! Why is that? The sushi and sashimi are still delicious here, but these recent changes are frustrating. The extra soup we had to pay for barely filled the small takeout cup, and the cold tofu lacked its usual creamy flavor, tasting bland instead.
We have so many wonderful memories associated with this restaurant. It’s disappointing to see such unkind treatment of loyal customers as they potentially say goodby...
I’ve been going to Daimatsu for over a decade. I have always been very impressed with the quality of their fish. The atmosphere is great. My friends’ grandmother loves to go there when she visits from Japan.
Authentic Japanese sushi sashimi for a la carte (or even chirashi sushi sashimi dinners — ask for any daily specials!! . I also highly suggest trying the sushi pizza appetizer and OMG roll here.
It's time to reopen the dining area and start providing proper service. The excuses related to COVID are behind us! Just like with remote work… it seems everyone has become complacent.

The best and most authentic sushi around where I live. The people here are very nice, and before COVID it was great being able to strike up conversations with the sushi chefs.
Legit Japanese cuisine. Ask for the omakase (chef's choice of sushi/maki) for the best sushi experience in the area. Take out only for now but worth the drive to pick up.
We had a superb in this restaurant. We liked the fantastic vibes and the meals. The staff members were super attentive. I’m glad we ultimately managed to visit this spot.
