I don't know what it is about this place, but the ice cream here is incredible compared to other Dairy Queens. The texture is consistently thick and perfect, while most other locations I've visited can be hit or miss. Every Dairy Queen should aim to be this delicious! The interior might be a bit small, but they have a patio where you can enjoy your dessert, which is great because people generally spend too much time indoors. It’s nice to get some fresh air. The only downside is that this location is seasonal. Thankfully, they have reopened for the year and now have a new soft serve machine. The taste and texture are just as amazing as ever.
This is bad customer service every time I've been in there. They are unorganized and do not know how to make the things I've ordered off of their menu . The last 2 times everyone after me gets their order and when I inquire about mine they start my order, after standing there 8-10 mins. They grab a brownie with there ungloved hand and carry it to the back then Look confused about what to do next. I've live within a block from them for 10 yrs and get consistently poor service. I usually drive out of my way to go to a different DQ but sometimes for convenience I try them again and always regret it.
I really don't understand the one negative review posted about this DQ. We were there tonight, and it was lovely. The weather was perfect, and we sat out on the patio with our Blizzards and watched the traffic go by. The folks behind the counter were friendly and efficient; they were pretty busy tonight, but we were able to order and pick up our ice cream, lickety split. We saw a couple of families with kids; it's got a great neighborhood feel. The old-fashioned signage certainly helps. I much prefer vintage Dairy Queens to the new style (though my husband said this used to be a Dairy *King*?
I visited this restaurant tonight just 10 minutes before closing time. The doors were locked, and the staff inside were making faces at those of us trying to enter while laughing among themselves. Instead, I ended up getting ice cream at Speedway. I noticed at least half a dozen other groups also tried to get in. They kept the OPEN sign lit until at least 10:30. Reserva una mesa ahora
I was so glad to see a burger with speck on it! I had a terrible experience about the pandemic order a speck cheeseburger at mcdonalds special. I had gone to 3 locations and found that I was targeted and they would not put the speck on the burger. the Burger challenge at dairy queen next to the ice was well past a 5-star rating.
