Our group of four was excited to hear about the 4 7pm happy hour and Thursday oyster and bottomless shrimp/crab and sides. After being seated we waiting 15 minutes for a server to approach the table and it was clear once we were greeted that is was by a manager trying to pick up the slack of the server who was nowhere to be found. 15 minutes in we finally ordered drinks and after a total of 25 minutes of no drinks or subsequent visits to the table we decided to leave. We usually go to Catfish Dewys for seafood and always get amazing service and food for great prices. That’s where you will find us not Holy Mackrel. I attended a company event at this restaurant, and I must say, both the staff and the venue were outstanding. They have a speakeasy room designed for private events, and it's simply the coolest feature. You enter through a freezer door and step into an avant-garde space perfect for enjoying craft beer with friends. There’s an arcade, pinball machines, and plenty of room to relax. Their strongest beer is called Panic Attack, but I found it a bit on the malty side for my taste. The Holy Passakos, however, was fantastic and paired perfectly with the chicken wings. Our bartenders were excellent, which made for a truly enjoyable evening.
I visited for their all-you-can-eat crab legs and shrimp on a Friday night, and I left very satisfied. Our server, Gabby, was truly exceptional—it's hard to imagine anyone being better than her. She had a wonderfully caring and enthusiastic personality that made our experience even more enjoyable. Everyone who helped us, including our bartender Derrick, was fantastic as well. The food was freshly prepared and served promptly, with excellent flavor. The freshly brewed beer was also delicious. I can’t wait to come back soon!
I saw an Instagram post about their all-you-can-eat snow crab legs and decided to give it a shot. I’m so glad we did—it was fantastic! The crab legs were delicious, and the Old Bay seasoning on them was absolutely outstanding. We indulged in an impressive four rounds of crab legs! Our waiter, Nick, was incredible; he anticipated our needs and placed orders before we even realized we wanted more. Saw an Instagram post for their all you can eat snow crab legs and thought we’d give it a try. It did not disappoint. They were delicious. Did I mention how amazing the old bay spice was on them? Soooooooo good.We went an embarrassing 4 rounds of crab legs ??.Nick was our waiter and he was really amazing. He kept putting in orders before we even knew we wanted them. We had an AMAZING time and ICONIC customer service and the server by the name of nick and he was very professional and personable! He constantly checked on us and made sure we had a great time and experience ! We had the crab and shrimp and drinks and it was so amazing ! I want to thank NICK for the ICONIC customer service ! Every time we come to Holy Mackeral it is always an amazing experience. From karaoke on Friday nights to Drag Shows on Sunday there is always something fun going on. Staff is amazing. Sylvia and Chef Rudy go out of their way to make sure to feel like are having a VIP experience. Food and drinks are great as well
