LoL .... I wasn't the winner, and I did it dinner !!! I did like my company .... AND the venue for dinner was unbeatable, when referring to the view or setting of the dining room at the Darcy Ranch Golf Course (one of the most beautiful golf course in Alberta) !! However, after dining here regularly for some time, I have to say, dinner is a hit and miss. I love to stop after golfing, and eat outside on the deck overlooking the 10th hole tee off and the 18th hole finish ... the sun is setting and the grass is a brilliant green. My husband and I went a couple Saturdays ago for the prime rib. You need to make a reservation, which we did. There were a couple of hiccups during the evening; our inexperience combined with a new waitress produced a lot of laughs and the food was amazing. We prefer our beef VERY rare and what we had was only medium but it was tender and tasty. AND we learned that if we come in at 5pm and tell them we want VERY rare when we make the reservation it will be ours. Sooo we are going back this coming Saturday night and taking friends. Lovely to have a restaurant almost across the street from where we live in our little town, and we don't even play golf :-)

The food and service are consistent. Good chef and lots of choice on menu. Close to my house, so can drink!!The view is wonderful!! So peaceful. Dining room is well appointed. Great for lunch and dinner. I think it is closed for November. The gates look locked.There is a dress code.

A great place to enjoy the weekend Buffet service. Saturday try the prime rib but place a reservation to avoid disappointment or Sunday for the pasta buffet one of the best I have ever attended! Great work Chef!

Bring your accuracy here because bad shots are penalized severely---like with a lost ball. BUT the course is in beautiful shape and has wide fairways and large greens---so it is a fair test.
