I want to give a fair review because we had a good experience upon arrival with hostess, waitress, and enjoyed the overall ambiance of the establishment. Service was top tier and is the only reason why I would consider returning to try other menu options. Chicken wings were just pitiful from presentation, to small size and lack of seasoning. Fried ribs looked good by presentation, but were tough and again lacked flavor. The cabbage was over cooked, not seasoned, and tasted as if drowning in butter. The other dinner items were great Chicken/waffles, greens, shrimp appetizer but for the price point of the menu, I felt disappointed that 50% of our dinner was not good. I love a good dining exper...
This was my 1st time I was highly disappointed for the fact that our ticket was $225. For the price the portions was small especially the $40 short rib plate. We had a smaller than a Medallion steak size piece with a scoop of Mashed Potatoes with Potatoes fingerlings in the gravy. Served in this soup bowl for $40!!! I work the Derby City Gaming Casino Downtown our Charcuterie boards have more food than my Braised Short Rib meal. Never again!!!
Meatloaf was MARVELOUS!!!! I did not like the cabbage that came with it however the meat loaf made up for it. I normally am not a Meat loaf gal but that night I was thinking I want something my grandma would make and don’t tell her but they meat loaf was better than granny’s. I’m a local so i will be back. Oh and the ambiance is amazing. They played r and b have diverse customers that enjoyed some music and laughs.
The restaurant features brunch and good entertainment each Saturday. Yesterday, the DJ asked by whom is the music. I was the only person who guessed it right: By Journey The DJ was pleased that I guessed it right and so were some of the customers. Nice bar where I enjoyed the mimosa. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Vegetarian options: Potato Casserole, Mac Cheese, Broccoli Cheese Casserole, Salads ?

This place is absolutely amazing! I came here for my bday dinner and from the moment we walked, everybody from the host to our server were AMAZING! The atmosphere, beautiful. The food, soooo good! Dee, our server, AMAZING! This place is on point like a decimal lol. This is my new favorite place! Love it!!!!
Very, very slow to get order and failed to seat our group together, even though we set the diner months earlier. Sad,sad.
