There's a reason why this place has 4 1/2 stars after 180+ reviews, they can do no wrong. My grandfather brought my cousin and me here one day after a ski trip to Okemo and always had it in the back of my mind to come back here. Stopped in this weekend after skiing some fresh snow at Magic Mountain as it right along the way home. Already knew I was going to be eating some delicious food but didn't want to double dip and order the same thing. Well, I ordered the potato wedges which my cousin ordered last time which came out hot! Such a tasty bite as I remember them to be. After I had gotten through 1/2 of them I decided to order the Steak Pie which by the looks of all the other yelpers was go...

It 's slim pickings for restaurants open late (after 7:30 pm) in this area, so we were happy to find, and be able to make a reservation, at MacLaomainns. The inside is charming and has that old wooden bar smell that I like. This would be a great place to grab a drink on a cold winter day. Very Scottish, lol. We were seated immediately for our 6:30 dinner reservation. We each ordered appetizers, which took nearly 45 minutes to arrive, even the cup of soup. Mozzarella sticks were nothing special, the cheddar tomato soup was really tasty. My mother in law loved the cock-a-leekie soup, and my father in law liked his scotch egg. It took another 20-25 minutes for our entrees to arrive. For a resta...

I fully expected this place to have five stars. It 's exactly that type of place. Wood panels, exotic food and beer, and wall to wall covering of reminders that, in case you forgot, this is a Scottish place. All the fake old world charm that excuses poor food and bad service. Just look at the menu the top items are nachos and chicken wings. What better way to get out of towner money than to charge them $20 for a plate of Tostitos. Something about the juxtaposition of Scottish heraldry and chili cheese dip suggests the owners just kind of phoned it in. The service was pretty nasty, I 'm not sure I heard a hello or a you 're welcome the entire time. We were forced to sit at separate tables bec...

Came here this past winter, wanting to try some Scottish food for the first time. The lights and bar area were inviting. We tried the haggis taster and LOVED it, surprising ourselves. We even wanted to order more! For our entrees we got the chicken and mushroom pie and the bangers and mash. The portions were just okay, not too much food but filled us up enough. When we came, they had run out of the scotch egg (the one thing we wanted to try the most! . If I'm ever back in the area, I would definitely come again. Reserva una mesa ahora

Never really got to eat there. Went in on our way to Jersey very hungry, saw a sign Wait to be Seated so we went to sit at the bar, little did we know wait to be seated included the bar. The Owner was pretty rude and say can 't you read the sign? Says it at the bottom of the sign and kept going on about it, would not let it go! So we left! Never to return again!!! Atmosphere: 1

The food and atmosphere was great! It's a small pub and they seemed to be understaffed, but they were all working hard to accommodate everyone coming in. They food was great! Stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and chicken and mushroom pie were fantastic and the burgers were delicious as well. Love supporting local small business.

What a fun little Pub! The food is phenomenal. I strongly suggest the cock-a- leekie soup! It is so superb! The owners are true and genuine. I have yet to try a menu item that I have not fallen in love with but I will keep trying. Reserva una mesa ahora
