We've been going to this cafe for many years, it has been our home away from home. The cafe had such a cool eclectic vibe, was cosy and warm in winter and had great breezy views in summer. When they renovated it years ago and added the verandas, it spoilt the view and made it busier, but we still enjoyed going there, the staff were very friendly and the food was generous and yummy. Then again the cafe changed when they expanded the inside, it lost its cosy atmosphere and the eclectic vibe was diminished. It was disappointing, but we were still loyal to the cafe. If the owners of this business can read a balance sheet then they should be chasing the hospitality trade Holy Grail of 'adding value' thereby increasing the average spend/profit per cover. Many aspects of this business are good but they fail miserably where it really counts - the food. An injection of creativity and innovation would push margins higher. Get rid of the Cook and hire a Chef. Tepid pork ribs, chemical sauce and bland ready made chips is really not acceptable nowadays. Try Roseys of Aldinga or Cantina 61 just up the road. Proper food made with a bit of passion and care is what the public want and are willing to pay for. Bog standard, old school canteen stodge does not do justic...

Have been a regular patron since the Cafe opened its doors. Since that time have brought along countless clients and work colleagues as well as family on almost a weekly basis. The staff are always friendly, courteous and accommodating. The serving portions are very generous and offer great value. The atmosphere is always bright and cheerful and the location by the beach with heaps of parking is brilliant. A great place for breakfast , lunch or dinner offering a relaxed beachside dining experience without costing the earth. The takeaway menu is good and the guys & gals are quick with the order. What a fabulous place to take my dear friend from NZ on her quick stop over to visit me. The service was impeccable the South Australian wine I picked was just delicious (Down the Rabbit Hole ) and got the thumbs up from my Lovely friend, we both ordered the Seafood Basket and was not disappointed, The dish was outstanding! With everything around us at its very best, it left us time to soak up the view and have a wonderful long catch up with my dear friend on this side of the ditch! Reserva una mesa ahora

We come here most Saturday mornings after our beach walk or spin class to relax, take in the sea breeze's and enjoy a leisurely brunch. Always really busy (recommend booking), staff are very friendly & attentive and the coffee & food are delicious. Really generous serves with plenty to choose from. Open for lunch & dinner as well lots to choose from with great wine list or great place to grab some take away fish & chips or pizza to eat on the beach.

Have had some great breakfast's here and meals. Any time of day is good. Summer is fantastic and in winter they have some fires going to make it cosy. Good food- My favourite winter dish is the " Deep Blue Chicken"

Summer or winter the Deep Blue is my favourite place to chill. With breakfast, lunch and dinner options as well a great choice of cake I don't need much of an excuse to visit, which is normally 3-4 times a week.

We have been coming back to here because the food is excellent . We had starters and pizza , the pizza was the best . So if you are at Moana and want a meal highly recommend the deep blue.
