this is undoubtedly the best of half dozens or so “Cabanes” that forms an end of the lacs at hossegor. it is also the one who looked the least. there is a reason for how they focus on serving the best oysters (from...humongous grande to moyen and petit all quite much larger size than they would get elsewhere) with the best selection of vins blanc (from excellent basque newcomer irouléguy to bone dry jurançons and quite local cote de gascons) to supplement the snink the oysters are excellent and served with lemon wedge and bark vinegar as they should be. and the service of a very friendly guy with a fabric cap was very friendly helpful (and he spoke good English after I had exhausted my Frenc...
Oysters from the lake with a bottle of lightly chilled Jurançon sec and the evening is complete. Although, if you don't like oysters then this is probably not the place for you. They serve very little else. The ambience is convivial and the weather warm...enough to eat al fresco in December in shirt sleeves and no shoes. I've eaten oysters all over the world (including the mythical Cancale) but these are the best. If you're in Hossegor don't miss it.
Fresh oysters, great service, nice location (shame about the view onto the lake being obstructed by the actual oyster farm), great price. PS: this is not a restaurant per say, i.e. they dont have any cooked food for drinks only white or rose wine...which goes with the oysters. Its a fresh oysters degustation place! Very gay friendly!!
Martin J. Osborne is right: that's the menu! And it is not a restaurant. It is fun for apéritif before having lunch at home or somewhere else. The view is good at high tide. There are three or four of these oyster bars at the...Seignosse end of the lake. They all have good, reasonably priced white wine.

amazing scenery right at the top of hossegor, serving fresh oysters and fresh wine. we got a dozen oysters (of course) and then we had to go 6 that they were so good. accompanied with a fresh white from the Provence.
Delicious oysters from the lake of Hossegor! Eating oysters and drinking wine outside, with a fantastic view over the beautiful Hossegor lake. Friendly staff and amazing ambiance. This place is just perfect!
Very nice place around the hossegor lake! Perfect place if you love oysters and for those who prefer jambon and pate you can have it too! Would definitely come back again!
they want a real taste of the simple French food culture? go there and enjoy it! cool setting, nice people, excellent eating and wein for a reasonable price!

Simple choice of food namely oysters, prawns, whelks, ham or pate. Served with a smile and glass of wine in fantastic setting. Magnificent.
