Delaney's Grill And The Mick

The restaurant was average overall. The rolls and popovers were tasty and fresh. My wife enjoyed her shrimp gorgonzola dish, which was a generous portion. I ordered the 10-oz sirloin steak with gorgonzola, but it came out more cooked than I had requested, with minimal cheese. I opted for risotto instead of potatoes for an extra $4, but only received a small portion. The children's pasta dish was not recommended, as it was a small portion for $15, including a drink and excessive ice cream.

My wife and I went a few weeks back after not going since early fall. Covid played a part of that time away but the real reason for me is that the food is just not that good. I continually find myself regretting the decision of convenience restaurant is only 3 miles from the house) over quality. It wasn?t always this way but it has been for awhile. I think for the price there are much better places to go, after all that is why you go out to dinner.

The food here is hit or miss. This time, unfortunately, both fish entrees were overcooked, the risotto was cold (not sure if that was intentional) and the boneless wings appetizer was also overcooked. There's music that starts at 6 that always makes it nearly impossible to hear the person next to you without yelling. I still have gift cards, but once they're gone, that'll likely be the last visit.

Our server, P, was attentive and explained how the buffet worked. They checked in with us to make sure we were taken care of. The restaurant was a bit noisy and crowded, but I expected that at a buffet. The various food stations were well stocked and the food was delicious. We will definitely return. Reserva una mesa ahora

We sat down for dinner at 7:45 and were not served until after 9pm. There were multiple things we ordered that we never got. Had to ask for my beverage 3 times! Live music was decent.... just a bit too loud.

This is one of my two favorite restaurants in our area. Always a good meal and great variety, as well as amazing drinks! We like to eat in the Mick which is a bit more casual and seats not as close together.
