Sadly this place could have the perfect recipe for success, BUT.... The owner struts around like a peacock pandering to his loud mouthed acquaintances, who seem to frequent the place. They swear indiscriminately and loudly, and the whole culture and environment is one of a Bigg Market pub, which is definitely not somewhere I’d take my children for a bite to eat. The owner’s arrogance is very off putting he openly takes orders in the rear garden from his friends, yet quite happily tells everyone else “there’s no table service, you need to walk round to the front to order”. I’ve previously given this place 5 stars, but unfortunately today was terrible. There’s never an excuse to have to wait 7 minutes in a coffee shop with nobody willing to even acknowledge you’re waiting to put in an order. Three people working in Deli Expresso. There were only eight customers. So whatever has gone wrong, sort it out please.
Overcharged for what was already a massively overpriced box of slop. Ordered food as a takeaway only to get home and find half the things that were supposed to be in there were missing and had paid 2 quid extra to get one measly piece of halloumi. Such a shame, as this place used to be canny, but has really gone down hill.
Really enjoy going to deli espresso and have visited many times, great variety to the menu and very tasty. Great coffee too Was really disappointed to see the recent food hygiene rating of 2/5 published in the newspaper. Have to say it’s a little off putting which is such a shame as this place is a real gem food wise.

The food here is average, presented as healthy. It's overpriced so gets a poor. Don't trust the online menu. Despite having similar ingredients, my choice was not available on the menu card in the cafe Seems popular with gym-going, boxing type folk.
Had an extremely tasty turkey dinner with all the trimmings at the Deli today. Excellent service, a cheeky glass of Prosecco followed by coffee and chocolate treat. Reasonable price too. It’s definitely worth a visit.
Fantastic breakfast at the Deli today. Delicious magic mushrooms- so tasty. And the poached eggs were cooked to perfection. Americano great as always. Fantastic service from Alfie. Full marks Deli Espresso.
Me and my boyfriend popped in for breakfast after being recommended by a family member and so glad we did. Cosy, friendly atmosphere and amazing food. Best porridge I’ve ever in my life!!

great choice on the menu. the food is fresh and tasty. the service is amazing. i would certainly recommend the gin and tonic.
