I was super hoping this would be an amazing BBQ restaurant. I have been to quite a few bbq restaurants, and sadly, I was not impressed. Now my husband really liked the meat. We ordered the 2 meat and 2 side combo's. Both with pulled pork and ribs, potato salad, and mac and cheese. The pulled pork was on a bun, and for some, that's probably just fine. I, however, didn't order a sandwich, so I didn't want a bun. I think the pulled pork needed more sauce. The potato salad was not to our liking at all, and my husband rarely doesn't like food. I tried almost everything on the menu at this restaurant, and the atmosphere was welcoming and positive from the moment I walked in. I ordered ribs, chicken, and all the sides except for greens since they were unavailable that day. The ribs and chicken were flavorful and juicy, and the sides were all delicious and well-prepared. If I find myself in the area again, I will definitely make sure to come back and dine here. The only thing missing from my meal was the sweet potato casserole. If you're hesitant about stopping by, don't second guess yourself - you won't regret the experience.
Besides the great food. The service was nothing short of amazing. I was surprised when the food came out. It was that fast.But the biggest and best was the hospitality.My wife is an architect and had an emergency with a client while we were traveling. We ate lunch and asked if we could stay for a little while so my wife could work. We were there 3 plus hours sitting off to the side. As my wife was architecting.Thank you so much.
The food was really good and came out quickly. The server, however, was unfriendly and did not mention the Happy Hour specials at all. We barely saw her and it was difficult to get her attention when we did. Otherwise, the Summers Street location is promising. To start, the food at this restaurant is phenomenal! Although the prices are on the higher side, the portions are very generous. I ordered two meats and two sides, and it easily served three people. The BBQ chicken was incredibly tender and delicious. A must-visit spot in Charleston!
I had a great experience at this restaurant. The BBQ dishes such as the Mac n cheese, greens, and pulled pork sandwich were excellent. The ribs were a bit salty at times, but the sauce was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive.
Rating it this low because while their phone message says they open at 9:30 and Google says 10:30, they still weren’t open at 11:30. Disappointing as we made a special trip and could never find out when it would actually open.
Salty/dry brisket, small portions, cleanliness issues. Sides were very good except fries were excessively salty. Worth the try but i wont go back.

The food is excellent, service is quick, and some of the best BBQ I have ever eaten.
