I wanted to eat in this terrible snow today. warm greeting as soon as they go in. beautiful open fire .very clean and welcoming place. a nice helpful man behind the bar meant his name was off. beautiful clean toilets . that is also important. eating was super. I had the haystack .best pulled pork I've ever smashed..hubby had cockerbsen and sweet kartoffel curry and it was beautiful. he loved it .puddings were beautiful I had caramel apples and custard..big young nabeby had bananen and custard .i cook for a living, so I am picky and would really recommend them to try this place. beautiful land pub....go try it they will not be disappointed x

been today with our u3a walk club, most impressed by the salatbar i had with my wonderful fish, and the teig was also delicious, best lunchtime I had and so good worth. owner really beautiful and well done.

Had a lovely venison burger and my partner had a surf and turf botg were beautifully cooked and served well very friendly staff and locals definitely be visiting again
