We have dined at Deninos quite a few times over the years and have come to expect a certain level of quality. This past visit I suppose we can chalk it up to an off night on the food front. However, in regards to service, we were very disappointed as we felt rushed from the moment we sat down. Within minutes of the appetizers arriving, we were already being asked if we were done working on that as it was more than evident from us actually still chewing, there being more than half the portion remaining, and the food being on the table for mere minutes that we were not. The same level of rushed service persisted once the pizza arrived. Definitely going to take some time off before heading back...
the first time we come here with a group of people. good place where I look in and out. just an arcade machine. the pizza was good. I had two or three pieces, one pfefferoni, two were simple. there was also a piece of cake with a strawberry on the top I had because there was someone birthday. I noticed that they also deliver and kurbsid pickup. they have this place on Seamless/GrubHub, so I can't wait one day to try it. ? here and there are some photos to see what it looks like. I think it has two dining rooms one was regular and one was for certain events. the dining room I went to had two sex-specific bathrooms. that's a good pizzeria? but one day I come back here.
we were on the staten island for a football game and talked about what pizza place we should go to. rated the barstool top pizza on the island and we had several local advisers that deninos was the best. we stopped after the game and hit the Sunday crowd. the place was very clean, the people were very friendly and above all, eating was fantastic. the regular pizza, the pizza, the spezialpizze, the pommes frites, the mozzarella sticks and the Italian egg roll ordered. the food was excellent and they must try the Italian egg roll as this was the highlight. I will return definitiw when I visit bayonne as it is directly across the bridge on the island.

Whenever friends come from out of town and want great thin crust NYC style pizza I immediately take them to Denino's. On this particular visit we enjoyed Fried Calamari and Mussels for an appetizer. Then followed that with a MOR (Meatball, Onion and Ricotta) Pizza. Washed it all down with some pitchers of Blue Moon on tap at the full bar. Parking can be challenging, but it is all worth it.
If you ever get to Staten Island this gem isunforgettable!!! Best pizza pies (Bacon Pie isamazing), tap Bluemoon, tender and perfectly seasoned calamari (melts in your mouth) and the clientele will make you feelat home with there charm!!!#deninos #nybestpizza #statenisland
Great Pies, the calamari was very good too. I had 1/2 clam pie and 1/2 arugula pie. Both were delicious. The portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back next time I’m in the area.
We had the clam pizza to go.Love the atmosphere and the servers were very nice which is lovely!Though I had high expectations of the clam pizza, it was okay :(Glad to know where I can eat another clam pizza other than dough by Licastri yummm.
