The server was extremely friendly. It had been over 2 years since my last visit, so I missed the $3.99 and $4.99 specials. The server informed me that there was a $6.99 special, which included two pancakes, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and bacon or sausage. I absolutely love the pancakes at this specific location. They have a unique and delicious taste that sets them apart from other pancakes made with the same mix. We left a generous tip for the server because both the food and service were excellent.
I was really let down by the service at Denny's today. I know that many places are short-staffed and facing difficulties, and I wouldn’t have left a negative review for just one issue, but today was a different story. Our waitress brought our food, but we had no silverware and had to point that out. There were four of us, yet she only provided three sets of silverware. Came here for my free birthday pancakes and eggs. I was pleasantly surprised! Those scrambled eggs were some of the best I've ever had. I need to know how they got them like that. The pancakes were fluffy and good also. They almost tasted like cake. And the bacon was bacon. The lemonade was really good too. I had one yummy free meal! Well I paid for the lemonade. You only get the food free
The experience at this restaurant was fantastic. Our waitress was exceptional, the food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. There were six of us dining, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The pancakes were cooked to perfection, the burgers were amazing, and the t-bone steak was cooked perfectly. Good place for late night grub. They've expanded their menu by like 5 fold maybe even 15 to 30 fold over the years. They just have so many things now on the menu. It's very reasonable too. I'm not sure if they still do free bday meals but that is my earliest memory of the place as a child. That was when the menu was 3 pages long.
The Denny's in Belleville is fantastic! I have visited a lot of mediocre Denny's with terrible service, but the service here was excellent. If you go, be sure to request John Brown as your server! He was so courteous to us that it truly enhanced the whole dining experience. Two big thumbs up!!!!!
The service was exceptional, but we were quite let down by the food. My girlfriend's over-easy eggs were excessively greasy, and both of our hash browns were significantly undercooked. The only items that exceeded my expectations were the toast and my omelet.
Angelica A was our server and in spite of their short staff, she was excellent. She also made sure that the restaurant was kept clean. She could easily manage it.
