My husband and I go out for breakfast or lunch once a week. We really like Denny's because they have a big variety of meals to choose from. Our favorite server is Barb and because we are regulars we are always seated in her section. I like how Denny's keeps changing their menu to offer different flavors of pancakes and pancake puppies. The best ones available now are the banana caramel pancakes and the red velvet pancake puppies. The cream cheese icing is so good! My favorite lunch item is a club sandwich with poutine. I also have the Denny's app on my cell phone and we collect rewards to redeem for $ off coupons. Every time you fill your stamp card on the app you will get a $5.00 coupon. Th...
We stopped here for breakfast on way home. It is easy to get to and had lots of parking. The building was clean enough as part of the Flying J complex and inside the restaurant it was the same. Our waitress was pleasant and outgoing and took our drink orders promptly and returned with the same promptness. We ordered breakfast specials and on one order asked to hold the pan fried potatoes and substituted sliced tomatoes instead, which was no problem at all. We have a tradition of going to Denny's Christmas eve or Christmas day for our family's breakfast. We live in Brighton but make the drive to Napanee as there is no comparison from belleville location to Napanees.We were in on Christmas eve and were a table of 10 with two children. We are smart and made a reservation.Firstly our server was fantastic. I wish I remembered her name. She was phenomenal and full of personality and felt like she had known us for ever and fit right in with my family.We all ordered something different and our food came out in excellent time, correct and hot! On our way back from Toronto going home, we stopped here for dinner. We were not overly hungry but we still had a 3 hour drive so we decided to stop and eat. We ordered a club sandwich from their 55+ menu and decided to share. The sandwich had all the ingredients of a club but with only 2 pieces of bread. I also came with our side choice of vegetables and dip. The sandwich was excellent. From the time we sat down and then paid and left, took all of 20 minutes. The service was excellent. We will definitely eat here again.
Food was good and service friendly and prompt. Salad with grilled chicken and craisins was a large salad and the greens were very fresh. Dressing was on the side and very large serving. The other meal was the light vegetarian omelette and it was hot and loaded with yellow and green zucchini and spinach. Chopped tomatoes was the garnish on this piping hot omelette! English muffin was Glutenfree and the fruit salad was fresh and a nice mix of melon, apples, grapes and bananas. Delicious lunch!
I had no idea what "Denny's" would be like, but was pleasantly surprised! The server was quick and conscientious, but very friendly at the same time. The food was above average at a very good price, kids meals were value-priced and excellent, and the decor was inviting. The restaurant was spacious and comfortable...not overcrowded like I am used to. I will definitely be returning and seeking out other "Denny's" to try out!
Party of 3Place is very clean and the service we're very friendly.. comfortable seating with chairs or booths..It's very close to 401, so no time wasted when on long drives.. with a gas station attached. I recommend the eggs benny...My friend had the fry streak and didn't like it.. The 3rd person just and the classic breakfast, said it was great...Bottom line ... Fast, good prices, and big portions . Recommended
The Denny's in the Flying J is in a convenient location because it is halfway between Toronto and Petawawa as well as other locations. The service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious. I had the Prime Rib Philly and I had to eat it with a knife and fork because it was so big. The dining area is quite large. It is a good stop whether you are travelling on business or pleasure.
We stop at Denny's from time to time on the road.We love the shredded potatoes with the breakfastsService was much better than usual, partly because we were ahead of the church rush.Meals are always good, especially the low cal egg white omelette with vegetables, and we will continue to come !
