Napanee Fish Chips

Rude, bad service and mediocre, overpriced food. I ordered halibut on a bun. When I went to pay with a credit card, I was told extra, ok, no problem. Then I was told Just bring cash and its easier'. I noticed it was over and all I ordered was a sandwich but at this stage I didn't balk. I was then told it would be minutes. How long does it take to fry a piece of fish and put it on a bun? Then I asked I'm parked right outside, can you ask the other fellow (Guy on cash) to bring it out? Cook barked I dont bring it out, come back in and it will be there (on the counter). Avoid this restaurant at all costs! My family and I had a terrible experience here. The meat was undercooked, the fish was spoiled, and our order was incorrect three times. The food seemed like reject items from Costco. It took over an hour to receive our food, even though the restaurant was not busy. The chef was disrespectful to the staff. The only positives were the friendly waitresses and the decor with mounted fish. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. This place does not deserve your patronage.

Finally tried this place after driving by many times. My partner got the halibut and chips and said it's the best he's had since moving here from the UK. I had the souvlaki dinner, it was super tasty and was enough for a couple meals for me will definitely be back!

We stopped in for lunch on Sat Feb Restaurant was clean and tidy. Waitress was super friendly and the cook even came out to ask us how our lunch was. It was delicious with plenty of food for the price. We will be back for sure Reserva una mesa ahora

Great breakfast, big portions and good service. Pricing is reasonable for all you get. Veggie omelet was superb, mushroom haven!
