Der Lowen - Reservar una mesa

We made a reservation for three, but only one table for two was booked. Table was outside and we'd rather sit inside for a dinner. Dinner was a fix and go. Tasteless and poor. I didn't get any vegetables with the carving that were dry and not delicious. Once we finished, we had to leave. Please visit the restaurant with the same name in Altheim (Roman Pfaff) and you know what to do. We'll never visit you again.

This restaurant served excellent food and was most welcoming to its guests. All the staff spoke English to some degree and the service was excellent. The gardens were very beautiful and have won various awards. Our stay in Hagnau was only 5 nights and we ate in Der Lowen 4 out of the 5 !! We can truly recommend this restaurant.

Go there 8 or 8/30am Ask a seat in the courtyard Take a candle You a sea fish All comes a bit of mashed and many potatoes it is ok if you are used to take German portions take a bottle of wine... coffee and have a desert pay around 18€ for a main course Give a few tips! Go home drunk!:

We had very high expectations regards this restaurant, but everything was disappointing execpt the wine which was very good, and plenty. The food was borring and without any flavour and it was very overpriced.
