The food at this restaurant was excellent, and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We would give the food itself 4-5 stars. However, the service fell short of our expectations. We sat at the bar, and the bartender provided virtually no service. Initially, a female bartender attended to us, but she was eventually replaced by a young male bartender who did not acknowledge us or inquire about our needs. Despite us having to repeatedly get his attention for additional drinks, a to-go box, and to close out our bill, he did not proactively offer any assistance. Next up on the list. If you’re stay at Great Wolf Lodge Poconos travel to Derailed Taphouse in East Stroudsburg. Only a 20 min drive but so worth it! The Burg wings are a must on the appetizer list. The pork belly bites I would’ve liked a little crispier, just my preference. The preztzel sticks were awesome as well. My burger, was the one way burger, one of their most popular ones there and it was fantastic! These burgers are thick and fresh and amazing. My only thing is I wish the burger has a sauce on it or to go with it, like an au jus would’ve topped it off perfectly! Kids loved their meals, very great service and staff. I give this place a 4.2 outta 5. Well worth it!
I found this spot while out of town for work. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into a cute taphouse. I sat at the bar and was greeted by my bartender Blake. He was super nice and attentive. I started with the lemon drop martini and it was good. I also had a good pour of red wine. For my meal I got the mahi tacos. It took a but for them to come out but it looked great. When I dug in they were ok. I had to add some hot sauce to add some more flavor. I would have to try something else the next time. Besides that everything was good.
I had an awesome visit today while out of town. My god daughter and I were just about to hit the road to head back to Philly and I decided to stop in for a bite. Got the Bacon Cheeseburger (the Mac n Cheese Burger was not available for some reason) and it was exceptionally tasty. My god daughter got the dessert pictured. Small place but very spacious. Parking is by the meter and I found a spot pretty easily. Will definitely go back next time I am in the area.

I wanted to knock on the kitchen door and tell the chef thank you for crushing this burger, but I figured a public review would be better. Not only was the burger cooked to a perfect medium as requested, the egg was perfectly runny as well. For anyone who has tried to get an egg or a burger cooked properly at a restaurant, this review should carry a lot of weight. Thank you so a great burger!
Modern gastropub menu that changes with the season. Dog friendly street side seating AND a dog friendly heated patio! They offer cocktails and beer flights. The lobster lettuce rolls were flavorful and had big meaty pieces. The philly was on the tastiest bread and was full of flavor. Request Maggie when you come through She is bubbly, knowledgeable, and is passionate about her job.
The food was great! I had the pulled pork sandwich which was delicious! It came with onion rings which were also very good. We had the Henney wings which were good. The pretzel app was tasty. The salmon entree was interesting. My friend liked the shrimp tacos. I would definitely go back.
I would choose to dine at Derailed anytime. The food was fantastic, the service was top-notch, and the drinks were outstanding. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about this place. It truly stands out in the Stroudsburg area, where it can be challenging to find good food.

I stopped by this restaurant after a day of skiing and was very satisfied. My group was hungry so we ordered several appetizers and small plates. Everything was delicious and hit the spot perfectly. I will definitely be returning for more!
Food was great, try the Brussel sprouts they're great. Kat was our bartender and she was wonderful.
