My oh my! So I turned up not expecting anything particularly great, boy was I in for a surprise The restaurant itself was pretty normal' in terms of setting, decor etc. I took a good look at the menu and decided that I'd go...for the balti meat' slightly saucy and hot. The waiter was polite and ensured me that the balti would be cooked just the way I requested. The time it took I'd say was about minutes which isn't quick by stretch of the imagination, but I'd rather wait for a good balti than a rushed one that tasted terrible. they met with some old friends for an evening meal, suggested desi’s when it was their regular hunting, knew vaguely about it, but not somewhere I was before. bright floor set with seating down for me a menu fetched. but my kumpels suggested something called tawar? Lincoln road has more neon than Vegas and a lot of awful food joints. This place is easy not to spot with a humble sign and small shop front. I missed it twice and I had the address! However this is the real deal. The...fact that every table is Asian families suggests this is authentic and worth the visit. It was cheap too and I can't praise the food and service enough. Sizzler starters fantastic, naans amazing and curries spot on and just got enough. They do delivery too

From starters to a lamb balti main washed down with a mango lassi was incredible. The mixed grill served on a sizzling hot plate was mouth watering. All the ingredients were so fresh and tasty. Went there with the family and orderd the Tawa.. Masala chips and Masala fish. All was fantastic.. except the masala fish wasnt Cod as stated in the menu, it was pangus which us a lot cheaper but still amazing. They also do desserts and milk...shakes which is great because we can have everything in one place.

had lunch here with my partner from Switzerland, menu super simple and so eat super fresh and delicious. service excellent. space and decor simple and uncomplicated. if they are a food, then this is a hidden gem in peterborough. I recommend a Desi experience.

Ive been hear only once before- always hear good things about this place and they do serve good quality food. Can become over crowded at times. But is clean, welcoming and a good place to dine at.

Really good food. Staff very friendly atmosphere is perfect will strongly recommend lamb balti and chai afterwards.
