I've passed by this café numerous times and finally decided to drop in for a study session. The space is quite spacious with plenty of seating, and they were playing fantastic music. It also seems like they host a variety of community events, which is a nice touch. The welcome at the counter wasn't the warmest, but I understand that everyone has their off days. I opted for the Versailles Mocha, which sounded incredibly tempting. There were also many beautiful desserts that I look forward to trying on my next visit! It's very ADA-friendly, especially when compared to Starbucks or Atomic Coffee in Royal Oak. The matcha latte I had was delicious, although a bit... lumpy, haha. I still enjoyed it, but it could have been mixed a little better, which sometimes happens with matcha. Just a heads up, this location closes at 8 PM, unlike some others that stay open until 10. As for wheelchair accessibility, the floors are great, there's an attached parking lot, and the tables are well spaced out. However, the door might be a bit challenging to open on your own. They accommodate various dietary restrictions, including vegan, gluten-free, and options for omnivores.

I had a pleasant experience at Dessert Oasis in Royal Oak, MI, where I enjoyed a mocha and a croissant. The coffee was rich and the mocha had delightful hints of raisin and date. The croissant was soft and flaky, exactly as it should be. I would rate the food and drink three stars. However, there was only one employee on duty during my visit, a young lady who managed the customer load and numerous orders impressively well. Because of her outstanding service, I would give Dessert Oasis an additional star, bringing my rating to four stars.

The 5 stars in the food column is for coffee! There's a location in downtown Detroit that I've been to many times. This is first time at Royal Oak Yeah!! To my surprise so much better!!
