we were looking for some nice bottles of wine to enjoy on our stay and this is the spot to go! helpful owners who helped us buy delicious Austrian wines - all very cheap and delicious. he helped us to pick up and his recommendations were... on him also threw in a free bottle opener. we returned the following day with reinforcements (5 people now) and again the owner was friendly, reminded us and helped us all five of us to buy wine, the tasty was very affordable. everyone was thrilled with the service. for seating there is a counter and a table that accommodates 6-8 people that can be reserved. we saw two women at the bar who enjoy a cracker crust pizza and what beautiful glasses of the wein...

dewald is a bit away from the way, but if they look only left of the big klamottenbusiness egger, they will find it. it is worth looking because the owner is a jewel who knows his wee and can speak English...too there is a beautiful, comfortable bar and a table. dewald is the first line for bottle wine sales, but it houses those who want to drink well. he also serves small dishes and bites to accompany the wein. super small place where natives like to meet each other, and where visitors feel like natives.

I am disgusting to write this review because it means that more people find this little gem. a beautiful wine bar and shop with excellent snacks. the pancake(A Alsace pizza) is meant to die. my host who also the owner is friendly and welcoming and gives excellent advice. there are some very good weine to buy with the glass and a selection of gourmet cheeses and Fois grass to take home. Small and compact and a little hidden away it is worth visiting. I wish I could give it 6 stars

I hate to share this mystery, but three years on its still great! possibly the largest flamingos (asace pizza) in the world. an extraordinary selection of wonderful wines with honest and friendly advice from my host and an interesting selection of gourmet goods. my advice not...visit kitzbühel without visiting dewalds
