Dickey's Barbecue Pit

We usually go to another local BBQ restaurant, but we thought we would try thickys. here is a short overview of our experience. we were warmly welcomed by the staff who were particularly friendly! we ordered the brisket plate with two sides, coleslaw and fried okra were my choice. Our meals were quickly prepared and delivered to our table, with taking off the okra that was cooked for order. as a bonus I received a double order of okra to have to wait. the brisket was delicious and was served in pieces, versus cut like a local competitor. late lunch on the west side in dothan. not my first time, but the 4th in different intervals. Actually, it seems to be better. that was my last trip. the people did as here if they wanted it, it was cold and the broth was as hard as a baseball. I really thought for a minute, I would have to go to my own brisket that came mixed with extra plastic film. BBQ sauce is always great and with the sort, but this time had a shut-off sauce to cleanse materials and dirty wet odours that at least someone had tried to clean the place. it made someone not want to eat so much with him. the price for a brisket teller and tee was near $19.00 for lunch, which even with rising cost factors in our world seemed...

if I were a zero. this evening my man ordered 3 meals. a meal that we didn't even get and was calculated, and the kids meal we ordered what chicken nuggets and makkaroni and cheese was served raw! to the happiness my child had eaten nothing, but unfortunately my man took a bite! each piece was raw! some pieces were still almost frozen in the middle! my child is a high risk and could have been easily diseased with a food disease! I hope that this business will take some corrective measures and will withdraw its entire staff to the right cooking times and temperatures! that could have been a terrible idea for the worst, but my man will be up there tomorrow to discuss this situation! is updated...

we have sacrificed the high-time tasting of our sohne and could not be happier! the manager and the delivery staff were so friendly and helpful and eating was absolutely delicious! we ordered ripening, pulled pork and chicken wings with 4 sides. everyone's been over the good. it made the rehearsal of my sohnes a big hit and we are so happy that we went through thickys bbq. thanks to all the staff! The food was fine. Not sure why they even pretend to process on line orders. Placed our order about it was to be ready at When we went to pick it up at the on line order had not been started. minutes later, we left with a jumbled bag of food. Will not be returning...to any of these franchises.

Been there numberous times but this Saturday was a disappointment.The Saturday special tea, and potatoes salad was great but the bake beans was cold and the sandwich was tough and stringley mostly burnt ends pieces, hard to chew didn't even finish by eating it.

Service is great and I have nothing negative to say about my visit but I have had much better bbq from other places that I've been. We all have different taste so try it for yourself.
