Dickworz Gaststätte

This was my first trip to Kelsterbach and it 's fair to say that first impressions weren 't great. However, if you spend a bit of time on TripAdvisor you can find some little gems like this place. We were looking for somewhere for a couple of beers after work and had already made plans for dinner elsewhere (Zum Treffpunkt also well worth a visit). We arrived at around 5:30pm and were the only customers. However we received a warm greeting and grabbed a seat on the patio in the sun. An hour later the place was filling up and from what we could see the food looked very good. The beer was good, the service was great and the bill was low (3.5 euro for 500ml pilsner). We walked here from the IBIS Hotel in Kelsterbach and had a wonderful meal with great German pilsner beer. The paprika schnitzel was delicious as was the grilled pork, and both were served with a salad and pommes frites. It is a local restaurant/bar and was indeed filled with people from the neighborhood. I speak German well and did all the talking for our group, so I have no idea if the workers there speak English. Everybody was very friendly, and we would definitely eat here again.

Small card, but good fresh food. For vegetarians, unfortunately, not much choice, but what is really delicious. If a lot is going on, the order will take a little longer, but you can adapt well if you know. The service-friendly, price performance is absolutely correct.

Not a glamorous spot...a neighbourhood bar with locals...really top value, had star , potatoes , onions and salad , with 2 small draught beers for €19. Food was superb (9.30 at night) no pretence, not fancy, just great...close to Ibis.

Now was two nights in the row, the beef salad was great, the steak one of the best I've ever eaten. Nice operation good price.

Just eaten there. 2 people, very delicious food. Cosy atmosphere and nice hospitality. Absolutely fine. We like to come back!
