prebooked a table on tripadvisor and this is a great service. drinks in front of dinner in the lounge area, then move into the outdoor dining area, with a beautiful garden, decorated tables and candles for sunset. Great wine card and we decided to use the three-course menu. free brot and an appetizer with terrins and mousse from the kitchen, that was delicious, then the mushroom soup with jakobsmuschels fantastic. while the main meal was good, we had not felt that they had the same high standard as the appetizers, the calf and pork medallions served with sweet and local eier noodles. the noodles were not delicious at all and I would miss them, then dessert. we enjoyed our evening and would come back. personal friendly and helpful.

we enjoyed two dinners very much. the food was excellent. as experienced travelers we were amazed to find this high quality in such a small city. the food was delicious and beautifully presented. the service was very friendly, professional and knew about the local weeping. the personal was able to adapt the menu to our food allergies.

we chose this place for a Saturday lunch with my children and older elders. we let ourselves down, pick up the menus and if we are ready to order, ask us to go, because their dinner preparation does not leave a place for lunch orders!? outrageous!

we had a great meal. this would be one of the more expensive evenings in gengenbach, but eating was excellent and it is worth it. everything was beautifully presented and delicious. the wine card was interesting and we chose a local pinot noir.
